Open Access and Licensing
The NTU Journal of Pure Sciences (NTU-JPS) is a fully open access journal. All published articles are made freely available online without subscription barriers and are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Digital Archiving and Preservation
The NTU-JPS is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its scholarly content. To safeguard the permanent availability of all published materials, the journal utilizes archiving mechanisms, including:
- Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ): A national academic platform managed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, providing secure preservation and dissemination of scientific publications.
All articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and stored with complete metadata to maintain persistent and reliable access.
Self-Archiving Policy
The journal encourages authors to deposit their work in institutional, subject-based, or personal repositories. Authors may self-archive any version of their manuscript without embargo, including:
- Preprint: The version submitted before peer review.
- Postprint: The peer-reviewed, accepted version.
- Published Version of Record: The final formatted version published by the journal.
Deposited versions must clearly state that the article was originally published in the NTU Journal of Pure Sciences and must include a citation and active link to the official DOI. This policy supports maximum dissemination, compliance with funder requirements, and alignment with international open-access standards.
