Article Processing Charges (APC)

The NTU Journal of Pure Sciences (NTU-JPS) is an open-access journal. To support editorial processing, peer review administration, production, DOI registration, and online hosting, the Journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC).

  • Standard APC (local authors): 100,000 IQD.

  • Student discount: 50% discount on the APC (valid student ID or official letter required).

  • International authors: 100% waiver (no APC charged).

Timing of payment
The APC is charged only after the peer review process is completed and the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. There are no submission fees.

Payment method & location
At present, the Journal accepts APC payments in cash only. Payments are made in person at:

Future payment methods
Additional payment methods (for example, bank transfer or electronic payment) are under development and will be activated in the near future. When new payment methods become available, we will publish details on this page.

Waiver & discounts
Discounts and waivers are applied transparently and consistently. Authors who claim the student discount must provide valid proof of student status at the time of invoicing. International authors receive a full waiver and are exempt from payment.

Editorial independence
Payment of the APC (or eligibility for a waiver) has no influence on editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the Journal’s scope.
