Author Guidelines

Submissions process on OJS 

Go to The Dashboard page

First, open the OJS dashboard page. it is located in the upper right corner of your profile.

Open the OJS "Dashboard". (Your profile > "Dashboard")

Create new submission

After that, select “New Submission” to start submitting our article submission.

Click "New Submission" to start submitting our article / journal.

Start step

Step 1, after opening the page, fill in the requested data (mandatory) and the rest.

  • And if it is filled, select “Save and continue”
fill out the requested form data (mandatory) and the rest.

Upload Submission step

Step 2, select the Article Component * that you want to select. Then upload the file you want to send. Then Press Continue.

Choose the type "Article Component" and uploading our article.

In the “Review Details” step, we can change the name of the file to be sent (if you want). If done, press Continue.

You can rename the file by selecting "Edit". (Optional)

In the “Confirm” step, we can add more files (if there are other files that we want to add). If you are sure, press Complete.

In the "Confirm" step, you can upload another file by selecting "Add Another File"


If there are more files you want to add, you can press “Upload File”. And then click “Save and continue” when done. Like the example image below.

You can also upload files again if by selecting "Upload File" in step "2. Upload Submission" if you wish.

Enter Metadata step

Step 3, in the “Enter Metadata” step. fill in the desired data and if so, select “Save and continue”

Tips : 

  • If you want to add a contributor, you can choose “Add Contributor”.
in step "3. Enter Metadata", enter the metadata for your article / journal.

Confirmation step

Step 4, in the “Confirmation” step, if you are sure, you can press “Finish Submission”.

in step "4. Confirmation", you can check again whether you are all correct sending data / info for your article. And if you are sure you can choose "Finish Submission".

Next Steps end of step

And your article has been submitted to the OJS journal. You have to wait for your submission (article) to be reviewed by the admin / journal owner, the Journal Manager, the Journal Editor, and the Production editor.

You can click “Review this submission” to check your journal / article submission.

if already in step "5. Next Steps". Congratulations, you have successfully submitted your article / journal to the OJS journal!


Author Guidelines

These instructions contain three sections, namely: (research template, writing references, instructions for authors), and as below:

  • The manuscript can be sent using the Submission system on the journal website.
  • The manuscript is subject to the Turnitin plagiarism detection software before sending to reviewers.
  • The research undertaking, Copyrights, and submission request forms (available in the Author Guidelines section) should be completed formally and submitted before any action taken by the journal.
  • NTU Journal of Engineering and Technology applies the license of CC BY (a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License).   If you need to know information on this license, please follow this link:
  • The author must incorporate revisions required by referees within a maximum period of one month; however, the final copy of the manuscript should be viewed and approved by the author within a period of three days.
  • The author/s should be declared if any, national or international organizations explicitly cover such fees for articles originated in funded research projects. If it is not announced by the author/s and if the grant authorities have a conflicting, in this case, the manuscript will be rejected in any process of publishing while if the paper is published in this case the journal marked on the paper by "retracted ".

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
