The aim of the research is to highlight the availability of the dimensions of
strategic monitoring among university leaders at the Northern Technical University
and its affiliated formations. The problem of this research was launched from a
question in its content: What is the availability of the dimensions of strategic
monitoring in the researched organization? The Northern Technical University and
its affiliated formations have been identified as a field of study, based on the
importance of the topic that the research has dealt with and the importance that
characterizes the research sample in the researched university. The researchers
relied in their research on the descriptive approach, as the intended research sample
consisted of (university president, university president assistants, deans, assistant
deans, department heads and directors) who numbered (133) respondents, The
researchers relied on the statistical analysis tools in the program (SPSS.V.22) to
test the research hypotheses, which were adopted. The research reached a set of
results, the most important of which is the achievement of a high-level consensus
regarding the availability of strategic monitoring through the dimensions embodied
in it by university leaders at the Northern Technical University and its affiliated
formations. This gives the impression to researchers that university leaders possess
a strategic monitoring through which they can address potential threats and risks
and limit the effects that may result from them, as well as identifying available
opportunities and working to invest them.
