The study aims to identify the status of courses, programs, and curricula offered by the Information and Libraries Departments at the Technical Institute of Management – Nineveh and the Institute of Management/Al-Rusafa, in order to understand their current state and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. The study employed the descriptive survey method to examine the websites of the Information and Libraries Departments, analyze their curricula, and describe the courses related to the study. Additionally, the comparative method was used to compare the curricula of the Information and Libraries Departments in the Technical Institute of Management – Nineveh and the Institute of Management/Al-Rusafa. One of the key findings of the study is the presence of courses with similar content but different titles, such as courses related to cataloging and classification. The study recommended emphasizing the development and evaluation of specialized courses in line with scientific and technological advancements and the needs of the labor market.
