The study aimed to test the repercussions of emotional intelligence on the well-being of workers at Al-Nour University College in Nineveh Governorate. It adopted emotional intelligence (as an independent variable) expressed in its dimensions (self-awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy, social skills) and the well-being of workers (as a dependent variable) represented by With its dimensions (psychological well-being, workplace well-being, life well-being), in an attempt to address a research problem that states: “Does the well-being of employees in the organization under study depend on its leaders adopting the dimensions that express emotional intelligence ?”
To achieve this, the study adopted a hypothetical plan that reflects the nature of its hypotheses, which expressed the extent of the availability of the two variables of the study and the relationships of correlation and influence between them at the macro and micro levels of their dimensions. To test these hypotheses, a questionnaire was adopted and distributed to a random sample consisting of 125 respondents from the functional staff of the researched organization, the collected data was analyzed using several descriptive and analytical statistical methods in accordance with the two statistical analysis programs(SPSS V.26) . (AMOS V24).
The study reached a set of conclusions that confirmed that the leaders of the surveyed organizations possess a perception and understanding of the dimensions that express both emotional intelligence and the well-being of employees, as well as the repercussions of emotional intelligence on the well-being of employees through the presence of correlations and moral influence between them (the two variables of the study) and at the macro and micro levels of their dimensions. In light of these conclusions, several proposals were presented to the organizations in general and the researched organizations in particular, including the need to pay attention to emotional intelligence and work to possess the dimensions that express it, activate and apply it in a way that ensures the well-being of workers.
