Self-archiving policy

The Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences supports responsible self-archiving and the dissemination of research through institutional and subject-based repositories.

Authors are permitted to archive the following versions of their manuscripts:

  • Preprint (the version before peer review): may be shared at any time.
  • Accepted Manuscript (post-peer review, prior to copyediting and typesetting): may be deposited in institutional or personal repositories with appropriate citation.
  • Published Version (Version of Record): may be shared according to the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

All self-archived versions must clearly acknowledge the journal as the original place of publication and include a full citation with DOI once available. Authors must not present archived versions as final if they differ from the published record.

This policy ensures compliance with funder mandates while preserving the integrity and citation value of the published article.
